Although we have been producing wine grapes for more than 30 years, Cantina Canaio history as direct winemaker was born in 2014.
The winery was born in a th family 17th Century property restored to its former glory, which today preserves all its original features. Thanks to the small-medium size of the winery, we are included in a range of niche limited quantities producers and therefore we can pay attention to every detail both in the vineyard and in the winery.
We can't say that our wines are better or as good as the others. But we can certainly say that every Cantina Canaio wine expresses its uniqueness through the wonder of an intimate and personal character. Because every wine has a history, but every history must be followed by the right wine.
We produce Syrah 100%, Merlot 100%, international varieties of wines which find in Cortona an ideal terroir to express themselves fully. You can taste a unique Tuscan touch in every sip.
